The gite of La Pierre Plantée is a modern bungalow-style accommodation for 8 persons, set in oak woods in the hamlet of Bazalgues.
in the commune of Baladou not far from the main towns of Souillac and Martel and the A20 autoroute.
The house stands by the crossroads of an old walking route. This is marked by a standing stone, which the house is named after.
It is the last house in the hamlet and the surrounding area has much woodland and many views across the countryside.
It is very quiet and a perfect place to unwind.
At the front of the house, there is ample private parking and turning space for
motorbikes and cars. We have little passing traffic as we are at the end of a chemin, and the parking area is covered by security.
La Pierre Plantée Gite can accommodate up to 8 persons in the 4 available bedrooms.
Available accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, and 1 small twin bedroom, and includes linen, duvets, and 2 towels per person. All bedrooms have views of the woods and have portable fans, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, and fitted wardrobes.
There are 2 shower rooms, 1 with a WC, and a separate WC. All bedrooms and shower/WC rooms lead off from a central corridor.
A large modern kitchen has access directly to the veranda, equipped with all cooking essentials, a microwave, gas cooker, coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge, and a large assortment of utensils and cutlery. Located directly opposite, the large open-plan living/dining room has a French TV, DVD player, free wi-fi,
tables, enough seating for 8 people, and access directly to the garden.

A large garden is surrounded by trees giving plenty of privacy, and is the ideal place to watch birds and local wildlife.
There are plenty of shaded areas on the large garden lawn, relax in the hammocks have lunch on the large garden picnic table, or take a refreshing swim in the swimming pool. A covered veranda overlooks a large high terrace. A large table with plenty of seating and shade, a gas griddle, and variable evening lighting.
There are loungers, a ping-pong table, badminton, and a large above-ground swimming pool. The exterior storage room has a fridge-freezer and washing machine. The front of the house has extensive private parking and a turning area.
To make your holiday especially enjoyable, we offer a grocery delivery service for our bikers, as shopping on a large scale can be awkward with bikes as your only transport.
You order online what you require from Leclerc Drive in Souillac, and we will collect and deliver to La Pierre Plantee for the small additional sum of €15 to cover our time and fuel. You can either create your own account or use ours, and pay on delivery.
