The House
Geraldine and Steve who are english speaking, welcome you to La Pierre Plantée,
it is a quiet modern bungalow style accommodation set in oak woods in the hamlet of Bazalgue.
in the commune of Baladou not far from the main towns of Souillac and Martel and the A20 autoroute.
The house stands by the crossroads of an old walking route. This is marked by a standing stone, which the house is named after.
It is the last house in the hamlet and the surrounding area has much woodland and many views across the countryside.
It is very peaceful and a perfect place to unwind and watch the local wildlife.
At the front of the house there is ample private parking and turning space for
cars, campers and trailers, and a secure place for bicycles.
We have little passing traffic as we are at the end of a chemin.

La Pierre Plantée Gite can accommodate up to 8 persons in the 4 available bedrooms.
Available accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, and 1 small twin, and includes linen, duvets, and towels. All bedrooms have views of the woods and have portable fans, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, and fitted wardrobes.
There are 2 shower rooms and 2 WCs, kitchen and dining area inside and outside, and free wi-fi is available throughout the property.
Outside there is a covered terrace and a large veranda. There is also a large garden with garden seating in a tranquil and private setting, relax in one of the hammocks under the shady trees, or take a refreshing dip in the above-ground 6x4 swimming pool.
There is also an extra fridge/freezer, and washing machine for your use. Dogs are not allowed, as there are no boundaries. There is a baby cot and highchair available on request
